Reconciliation of GRDP Papua Provinsi

April 3, 2015 | Other Activities

On the last 3 to 6 March 2015, the Central Bureau of Statistics of Papua Province has been conducting Gross Regional Domestic Product Konserda Regency / City in the province of Papua. The event, which was held in Jayapura Hotel Relat was attended by 25 participants, 22 of whom are head / section responsible for the balance of the region and analysis of BPS districts / cities in Papua. The purpose of this Konserda include:

  1. Perform basic data reconciliation between the data sourced from the province with the data generated by the district / city,
  2. Updating Worksheet which became the calculation of GDP district / city base year 2010,
  3. Creating zero discrepancy between the data with the provincial GDP GDP districts / cities in Papua both in total and per category.

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) is the sum of value-added goods and services resulting from all economic activities throughout the region in a given year. GDP is calculated based guidebook SNA (System of National Accounts) that apply internationally. Indonesia itself has gradually adjusted SNA to balance regional and national conditions are then called SNNI Indonesia (Indonesian National Accounts System). Along with the change in the base year, the calculation of GDP / GDP SNNI was referring to the latest version (2010). However, in this calculation process, there are differences between the data sources used nationally and regionally, which in turn gave rise to discrepancies between national GDP with a combined value of regional value. This discrepancy sought to be minimized through discussion and reconciliation are done in GDP Konserda Regency / City in the province of Papua.
