Jayawijaya, 7 September 2026 — The Acting Head of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Papua Province, Akhmad Jaelani, M.Si., together with the Head of BPS Jayawijaya Regency, held an audience with Elai Giban, S.E., M.M., Assistant II for Economic Affairs and Development at the Regional Secretariat of Papua Pegunungan Province. The meeting took place at the Wenehule Huby Autonomous Building in Jayawijaya on Monday, 7 September 2026.
The meeting aimed to strengthen coordination and encourage the Papua Pegunungan Provincial Government to support the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026). Through this engagement, BPS and the regional government seek to enhance institutional collaboration and ensure the smooth implementation of economic data collection across Papua Pegunungan.
SE2026 is a strategic national initiative designed to provide comprehensive data on the conditions and characteristics of business activities across Indonesia.
