Abstract

EXPORT

The value of exports of Papua in February 2015 amounted to US $ 74.58 million, down 49.68 percent compared to the value in January 2015.
In cumulative Jan-Feb 2015 total exports rose 51.56 percent compared Papua cumulative value Jan-Feb 2014, ie from US $ 146.99 million to US $ 222.78 million.
In February 2015 only recorded exports of Copper Ore and Concentrates (HS26) of US $ 74.55 million and non-oil exports of other groups of US $ 0.03 million. Not recorded exports Wood and Articles of Wood (HS44) and export of fish and other aquatic animals (HS03).
Total exports HS26 cumulative Jan-Feb 2015 amounted to US $ 207.42 million, an increase of US $ 95.98 million compared to the total in Jan-Feb 2014. The decline in the value of exports in the export HS44, HS03, and other non-oil group in which each fell by US $ 11.05 million, US $ 8.40 million, and US $ 0.74 million.
The value of exports to major countries in February 2015 amounted to US $ 74.55 million and exports to other countries worth US $ 0.03 million.
In cumulative Jan-Feb 2015, the exports to major countries experienced a 66.54 percent increase compared to the value in Jan-Feb 2014, to US $ 207.42 million. Meanwhile, the value of exports to other countries fell by 31.55 percent in Jan-Feb 2015 to only US $ 15.36 million.

IMPORT

Total imports of Papua in February 2015 amounted to US $ 52.37 million, down 9.56 percent compared to the total in January 2015.
Total imports cumulative Jan-Feb 2015 decreased by 40.89 percent compared to the total in Jan-Feb 2014 to only US $ 110.27 million.
In February 2015, non-oil imports 10 major categories of US $ 35.57 million and non-oil imports of other groups of US $ 7.51 million.
Value of non-oil imports 10 major groups in the cumulative Jan-Feb 2015 fell 40.05 percent of the value of imports in Jan-Feb 2014 to US $ 73.22 million. Other classes of non-oil imports also declined by 2.09 percent, from US $ 9.59 million to US $ 9.39 million.
Imports of major countries in February 2015 was US $ 41.39 million and imports from other countries worth US $ 10.97 million.
In cumulative Jan-Feb 2015, the value of imports from 7 major countries amounted to US $ 91.66 million. While imports from other countries amounted to US $ 18.61 million.
