Abstract

v. Presentation (release) the official News statistics for manufacturing industries are distinguished into large and Medium manufacturing industries (IBS) as well as Micro and small Industries (IMK).



Ø LARGE AND MEDIUM MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIES (IBS)

þ production growth of large and medium manufacturing industries (q to q) Quarterly Papua Province IV-2015 experiencing positive growth of 4.61 percent of Quarter III-2015.



þ If compared to production growth Quarter IV-2014, growth of industrial production in large and medium Manufacturing (y-on-y) Papua Province Quarter IV-2015 also experienced a positive growth of 4.62 percent.



þ Growth positive over the past quarter of IBS IV-2015 due to increased production of export-oriented manufacturing industry are likely due to the increasing demand from countries importing the commodity.



þ If compared to the year 2014 the growth during the years 2015 experienced IBS positive growth, namely of 0.42 percent. Such growth was greatly influenced by the increased production of Industrial wood, articles of wood and Cork (not including Furniture) and Woven from Bamboo, rattan and the like (KBLI 16).

Ø SMALL AND MICRO MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY (IMK)



þ production growth of micro and small manufacturing industries (q to q) Quarterly Papua Province IV-2015 experiencing positive growth amounting to 1.04 percent of Quarter III-2015. The positive growth can be caused by the increased production of some commodities industry, the Industrial commodity Goods Minerals instead of metal, not machines, Furniture Industry, processing industry, and the leather industry , Leather goods and footwear.



þ If viewed with (y-on-y), the growth of Micro and small industrial production (IMK) Quarterly IV-2015 Papua Province experienced a positive growth of 2.48 percent compared to Quarter IV-2014. This can be caused because the high demand of consumers against certain industrial products in the Quarter IV-2015 2014 IV-Quarter comparison, especially Other processing industry, Metal Goods Industry, not machines and equipment, and industrial Printing and reproduction of the recording Media.



þ If compared to the years 2014 IMK growth rates during the year 2015 are experiencing positive growth, namely of 8.03 percent. With the largest production growth on KBLI 25.
