Abstract

EXPORT

Ø Total exports in April 2016 Papua amounting to US $71.40 million or down significantly to 51.03 percent in comparison to total exports March 2016.

Ø Total cumulative export from January to April 2016 was US $369,31 million or down 19.78 percent than the total export from January to April 2015.

Ø Commodity exports recorded in April 2016 is the export of Copper Ore concentrate (HS26) & amounting to US $66,92 million; export of Wood from the wood Stuff & (HS44) of US $4.45 million; the Non oil and gas exports and Other of US $0.03 million.

Ø the cumulative export value from January to April 2016 has decreased at export HS26 and HS44 when compared with the same month in the previous year, where each dropped by US $72,94 million and US $18,31 million. While the total exports of the non oil and gas others experience a little bit of an increase of US $0.20 million.

Ø exports to the six countries in April 2016 valued at US66 .92 million or down 50.23 percent of its value by March 2016. The value of exports to other countries also dropped from US $11,33 million by March 2016 to $4,47 million on April 2016.



IMPORT

Ø Import Papua in April 2016 valued at US $68,01 million or 83.62 percent higher than its value by March 2016.

Ø value of imports compared to January-April 2015 recorded US $194,40 million, imports from January to April 2016 rose 3.65 percent.

Ø on April 2016, the value of imports of 10 the main nonmigas of US $45,63 million and the value of imports of the other nonmigas of US $10.35 million.

Ø the value of imports of 10 principal nonmigas group in January-April 2016 higher US $22,53 million from its value at the same month cumulative year 2015.

Ø import from seven major countries on April 2016 valued at US $57,46 million or ride 106.61 percent of its value by March 2016.
Compared the value of imports from the seven major countries in January-April 2015, its value in January-April 2016 3.40 percent decline. The increase thus occur in the value of imports from other countries which climbed 42.45 percent.
