The CPI also noted the city experienced high inflation including Bima 1.86 percent; Jayapura 1.78 percent; Manokwari 1.77 percent; Balikpapan 1.74 percent and Tual 1.71 percent. While the city's CPI recorded experiencing low inflation is Singaraja 0.13 percent; Kediri and Meulaboh respectively amounting to 0.16 percent. Jayapura ranks third nationally and first in the level Sulampua (Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua). While the Merauke ranked 16th nationally and seventh in order of level of Sulampua.

services 5.83 percent; food ingredients Group 1.29 percent; food group so, drinks, cigarette and tobacco 0.82 percent; the Group obtained 0.56 percent; group health 0.42 percent; the group housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.24 percent as well as educational, recreational and sport 0.14 percent. Inflation in Merauke in June 2016 occurs due to an increase in the price of goods and services indicated by the rise in the index in the Group of expenditure: group transport, communication and financial services 9.06 percent; food group so, drinks, cigarette and tobacco 0.32 percent; group health 0.22 percent; food ingredients group 0.19 percent; Group clothing 0.15 percent; the group housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.12 percent as well as educational, recreational and sporting index numbers unchanged.
