Abstract

Papua's exports in May 2019 were valued at US $ 8.63 million or decreased by 94.54 percent compared to the previous month which was valued at US $ 158.08 million. In terms of type, Papua's exports consist of oil and gas goods at US $ 978 and non-oil and gas goods at US $ 8.63 million.

Timber & Wood Goods Exports (HS44) in May 2019 valued at US $ 5.96 million; exports of fish & other aquatic animals (HS03) valued at US $ 0.02 million and other non-oil and gas exports worth US $ 2.64 million. Meanwhile, Copper Ore & Concentrate (HS26) has no exports.

Exports to the six main countries in May 2019 were valued at US $ 5.82 million, down 96.1 percent compared to the value in April 2019, which amounted to US $ 149.1 million. Exports to other countries in May 2019 were valued at US $ 2.81 million or decreased compared to April 2019 which was US $ 8.97 million.
