In May 2025, domestic transportation activities reflected a notable level of mobility among the population. A total of 7,372 people travelled using domestic sea transportation, indicating the community’s reliance on sea transport—particularly in coastal and archipelagic regions—as a primary mode of travel.

Meanwhile, domestic air transportation served 43,483 departing passengers during the same period. This figure indicates that air travel remains the preferred choice for long-distance journeys that prioritise time efficiency, particularly in areas with limited land and sea access.
