Abstract

The room occupancy rate for star-rated hotels in July 2025 reached 34.42 percent, a decrease of 6.46 points compared to 40.89 percent in June 2025. Meanwhile, the occupancy rate for non-star-rated hotels reached 28.72 percent, a decrease of 0.11 points compared to 27.75 percent in June 2025. Compared to the same month in the previous year, the occupancy rate for star-rated hotels decreased by 6.35 points, while the occupancy rate for non-star-rated hotels decreased by 7.17 points.
The average length of stay (ALST) for star-rated hotels in July 2025 reached 3.11 days, a 1.08 point increase compared to 2.03 days in June 2025. Meanwhile, the ALST for non-star-rated hotels in July 2025 reached 1.43 days, a 0.05 point increase compared to 1.38 days in June 2025. Compared to the same month last year, the RLMT for starred hotels remained stable at 3.11 days, while the RLMT for non-starred hotels decreased by 0.08 points.
