Abstract

Education as the key to life plays an important role in building a dynamic, productive, skilled workforce that masters knowledge and technology, supported by industry collaboration and global talent. The direction of human resource development is one of the seven national development agendas for 2020-2024, which is to enhance the quality and competitiveness of human resources. The hope is to produce a healthy, intelligent, adaptive, innovative, skilled, and characterful generation of nation builders. Educational Indicators of Papua 2023 describes the condition of education in Papua based on the results of the March 2023 National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas). The data presented still covers 29 districts/cities with several key indicators of education processes and achievements. Additionally, data on school registration results collected by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology for the 2022/2023 Academic Year is also provided. This data includes information on the number of schools, students, educators, educational facilities, and school sanitation. With the publication of this information, it is hoped that it will serve as a reference for providing recommendations related to education policy and development strategies. We express our gratitude to all parties who have contributed to the preparation of this publication. Hopefully, this publication will be beneficial to all parties, especially those involved in the development and advancement of education.
