Abstract

These Important Indicators for Papua Province and the New Autonomous Region (DOB) were published by the Papua Province Central Statistic Agency (BPS). The data and information contained are the latest data developments collected and released by BPS, which are the result of direct data collection and the result of compilation of government administration products carried out regularly (monthly, quarterly and annually) by BPS staff throughout Papua Province. This publication is intended to complete material for policy preparation and evaluation of progress achieved in both the social and economic fields. Important indicators for Papua Province and the New Autonomous Region include: Population, monthly developments in inflation, transportation, farmer exchange rate (NTP), export-import, economic growth, employment, poverty, income inequality, IKK, HDI, and food crop production.
