Education Indicators of Papua Tengah Province, 2024

Education, as the key to life, plays a vital role in building a hardworking, dynamic, productive, and skilled human resource base that masters science and technology, supported by industrial collaboration and global talent. This direction of human resource development is one of the seven national development agendas for 2020–2024, namely improving the quality and competitiveness of human resources. The goal is to produce a future generation that is healthy, intelligent, adaptive, innovative, skilled, and has strong character.The 2024 Education Indicators of Central Papua Province illustrate the state of education in the province based on the results of the March 2024 National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas). The data presented includes several key indicators related to education processes and outcomes. In addition, data from school registration collected by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology for the 2024/2025 academic year is also included. This data provides information on the number of schools, students, teachers, educational facilities and infrastructure, and school sanitation. This publication is expected to serve as a reference for providing recommendations related to policies and development strategies in the education sector.
