Abstract

percentage, the poor population in Papua during the last six months undergoing a rise of 0.23 percent points of 28.17 percent by March 2015 be 28.40 percent in September 2015.
Visits by type area, the poor population is concentrated in the area of persesaan, in September 2015 as much 37.34 percent poor population live in rural areas while in urban areas only amounted to 3.61 per cent.
 the poverty line (GK) in urban areas by September 2015 amounting to Rp 445.057,-higher than the GK village reached Rp 392.446. This means, the cost to meet the needs of a decent living minimum (basic needs) for the food and not the larger food in urban areas than in rural areas.
the role of commodity food against much bigger than GK role of commodities not food (housing, clothing, education, and health), namely 75.19 percent compared to 24.81 percent.
an influential Food Commodities to GK in urban areas is rice, cigarettes, kua wet, egg races, COB/tuna/tuna and bloating. While the influential commodities against GK countryside is cassava vines, rice, cigarettes, meat and sugar.
in the period March 2015 – September 2015, the poverty Depth Index (P1) and the index of the severity of poverty (P2) showed a tendency to increase. This indicates that the average spending on the poor population tends increasingly meenjauhi the poverty line and inequality spending on the poor population are also getting bigger.
