Abstract

In December 2017 as the second city of CPI in Papua Province recorded changes in the same index number where Jayapura experiencing inflation amounted to 2.28 percent and 0.97 percent inflation experienced over Indonesia with the consumer price index (CPI) each of 131.75 and amounted to 133.77.

Jayapura is the one at the national level and at the level of Sulampua (Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua), while the Merauke ranked 20th at the national level and the seventh in order of level of Sulampua.

Inflation in calendar in Jayapura in December amounted to 2.41 percent and year on year inflation (December 2017 against the December 2016) of 2.41 percent. Inflation in calendar Merauke in December 2017 of 1.25 and inflation year on year (December to December 2016 2017 against) of 1.25 percent
