Abstract

· In December 2017, Farmer Exchange Rates (NTP) in Papua Province fell 0.34 percent with an NTP index of 93.26. The decline occurred because changes in the price index received by farmers were smaller than the price index paid by farmers.

· National NTP for December 2017 amounted to 103.06 or decreased 0.01 percent.

· Papua Province NTP in December 2017 according to subsector namely: NTP Food Plant Subsector 86.31; Horticultural Subsector NTP 92.76; NTP People's Plantation Plant Subsector 100.74; Livestock NTP Subsector 99.89 and Fishery NTP 98.28. Furthermore, the NTP of the Fisheries sub-sector is broken down into NTP of Capture Fisheries 103.75 and NTP of Cultured Fisheries 83.27.

· Out of 33 provinces, 14 provinces experienced an increase in FTT and 19 provinces experienced a decline in FTT where West Kalimantan recorded the highest FTT increase of 0.99 percent while Gorontalo recorded the largest decline of -1.05 percent.

· Papua Rural Inflation December 2017 recorded 0.49 percent inflation.

· Nationally, all provinces experience rural inflation. The highest rural inflation occurred in East Java at 1.78 percent while the smallest rural inflation occurred in West Papua at 0.18 percent.

· The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Enterprises (NTUP) in Papua in December 2017 was recorded down by 0.07 percent.
