Abstract

þ in April 2016, the exchange rate (NTP) Farmers in Papua Province recorded rising 0.01 percent to 96.14 as compared the previous month of NTP 96.13. The increase results from the index of prices farmers received (It) rising 0.23 percent while the index of prices paid farmers (Ib) rising just 0.22 percent.

þ National NTP on April 2016 was 101.22 or 0.10 percent decline compared to the NTP March 2016. This is caused by farmers accepted index decreased by 0.51 percent and the index of prices paid farmers also decreased by 0.41 percent.

þ From five subsector subsector has a value of 2 NTP NTP Subsector i.e. 100 under food crops of 85.70 and NTP Livestock Subsector amounted to 99.68. While the 3 other subsector have a value above 100 IE NTP NTP subsector of 102.26 Horticulture; NTP subsector Crops Plantation of 103.73 and Fisheries subsector recorded NTP of 104.34. Further, the Fisheries subsector NTP can be specified into the Capture Fisheries and NTP NTP Aquaculture respectively amounted to 109.85 and 89.07. Nevertheless, horticulture and livestock subsector experienced a rise in the index of NTP while the other subsector indices decline.

þ From 33 provinces counted his 21st NTP Province recorded increase NTP and 12 province of Riau where NTP decline recorded the highest increase of 2.10 i.e. NTP percent followed by New Guinea with the rise the lowest of NTP 0.01 percent. While in South Sulawesi province recorded the largest decline in the index with i.e. amounting to 1.29 percent and the smallest decline in Bali or just 0.04 percent.

þ Rural Inflation can be known through the index of household consumption. Rural inflation Papua April 2016 recorded experiencing inflation amounted to 0.34 percent. Rural inflation occurs due to an increase in the index in some sub group of household spending, where the highest index increase occurred on the subgroup of foodstuffs of 0.91 percent. While the subgroup transport and communication indices i.e. the largest decline of 2.37 percent.

þ nationally, 6 provinces experienced the highest inflation where rural inflation occurs in Papua of 0.34 percent and the lowest rural inflation occurred in Kaltim of 0.01 percent. While the largest rural deflation occurred in Jambi province amounted to 1.40 percent and Banten is a province of the smallest recorded deflation of 0.16 percent.

þ If compared to the exchange rate of household Farming Undertakings (NTUP) March 2016, NTUP New Guinea on April 2016 rising 0.29 percent from 107.81 became 108.12.
