· In January 2018, Farmer Exchange Rates (NTP) in Papua Province fell 0.77 percent with an NTP index of 92.55. The decline occurred because changes in the price index received by farmers were smaller than the price index paid by farmers.
· National NTP for January 2018 was 102.92 or decreased 0.14 percent.
· Papua Province NTP in January 2018 according to sub-sectors namely: NTP Food Crop Subsector 85.97; NTP Horticultural Subsector 91.88; NTP People's Plantation Plant Subsector 100.27; Livestock Subsector NTP 98.59 and Fishery NTP 97.88. Furthermore, the NTP of the Fisheries sub-sector is broken down into NTP of Capture Fisheries 103.10 and NTP of Cultured Fisheries 83.56.
· Out of 33 provinces, 10 provinces experienced an increase in FTT and 23 provinces experienced a decline in FTT where Nangroe Aceh Darussalam recorded the highest FTT increase of 0.89 percent while Bangka Belitung recorded the largest decline of -2.46 percent.
· Rural Inflation in Papua in January 2018 recorded inflation of 0.56 percent.
· Nationally, all provinces experience rural inflation. The highest rural inflation occurred in Bangka Belitung by 2.13 percent while the smallest rural inflation occurred in Nangroe Aceh Darussalam by 0.40 percent.
· The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Enterprises (NTUP) in Papua in January 2018 was recorded down by 0.29 percent.
