Abstract

• In January 2019, Farmer Exchange Rates (NTP) in Papua Province fell by 1.58 percent with an NTP index of 90.37. The decline occurred due to a decrease in the price index received by farmers (𝐼𝑡) from the increase in the price index paid by farmers (𝐼𝑏).

• National NTP for January 2019 was 103.33 or an increase of 0.16 percent.

• NTP Papua Province in January 2019 according to sub-sectors namely: NTP Food Plant Subsector 81.73; Horticultural Subsector NTP 84,54; NTP People's Plantation Plant Subsector 102.12; Livestock Subsector NTP 102.49 and Fishery NTP 99.73. Furthermore, the NTP of the Fisheries sub-sector is broken down into NTP of Capture Fisheries 106.31 and NTP of Aquaculture 81.73.
