Papua Pegunungan Province Economic Growth Quarter 1-2025

The economy of Papua Pegunungan based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in the first quarter of 2025 reached IDR 6,796.25 billion and at constant 2010 prices reached IDR 3,454.76 billion. The economy of Papua Pegunungan in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the first quarter of 2024 grew by 3.02 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Public Administration and Defence,  Compulsory Social Security (Category O) with a growth of 7.11 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Household Expenditure Component of 3.00 percent. 
From the production side, the economic structure of the Papua Pegunungan in the first quarter of 2025 was still dominated by the Public Administration and Defence,  Compulsory Social Security which were recorded at 21.27 percent, while from the expenditure side it was dominated by the Household Consumption Expenditure component, which was 88.30 percent.
